SCHMITT TRIGGER lab test n°2
- Build or simulate a Schmitt trigger using an Op Amp (LM741 if possible).
- Measure the characteristics of the Schmitt trigger you made.
- Use a DC power supply of +-10V and set the generator on a 3V amplitude.
- Compare the signals at the point 2 and 1 on the schematics with an oscilloscope.
- Measure the thresholds of the Schmitt trigger and compare them with the calculated values ( literature is linked below).
- Replace R1 with a 12Kohm resistor and check and explain what happens.
- Change the amplitude of the input to 1V and check what happens.
- Draw the input-output graph for this device.
